Lindsay moved to Bellingham 2 1/2 years ago from New Orleans, where she was the Associate Publisher for WHERE Magazine. Prior to publishing, Lindsay held various marketing and media roles, including a New York Times internship with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Rick Bragg.
Since moving to the ‘Ham, Lindsay has worked in a freelance capacity, providing marketing consulting services and working as a freelance writer and photographer. Locally, her work as appeared in The Bellingham Herald, What’s Up Magazine, and Grow Northwest.
Her first baby, with her husband Bob, is due September 1. She started this site in response to the frustration she felt with all the misinformation and contradictions she encountered on the web.
Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Lacey transplanted to the ‘Ham in 2008. She has extensive experience in marketing and event planning, and currently works in sales at a local not-for-profit. She also manages The Polished Plan, an event and wedding planning company that she founded in 2015.
Lacey loves a good challenge, whether it be running a marathon, copycatting a famous recipe, cooking creative foods her toddler will eat, or finding the best bargain. Her passions include spending time with friends and family, cooking/baking, crafting, champagne and throwing one heck-of-a party.
Lacey lives in Bellingham with her 2 yr old son, Bryson, and husband Josh, a.k.a. “Tex.”
Audra lives in Bellingham with her tribe– husband Chris and two young sons, Porter and Campbell. She firmly believes in the motto “mom life is the best life!” But don’t let the sweet-faced, doting children in the photo fool you. One of them challenges Audra mentally and the other challenges her physically on a daily basis. No two children are alike, no two parents are alike, and no two parenting styles are alike. That’s why Audra is proud to be a part of a website like Fam in the Ham– one that offers resources, advice and valuable information to families of Whatcom County. As parents, we need all the help (and strong, black coffee) we can get.
