“Stuffed” burgers

There are few things my husband loves more than a thick, juicy burger hot off the grill.  Especially when it’s wrapped in bacon!

These burgers are so easy, and you can use any veggies you have on hand.  The best part for me is, there’s no bun needed!


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • bacon – 2 thick long slices
  • grilled onions, peppers, and any other veggies
  • Cheese, if desired

Divide beef in half, and form a round mound with each piece.  Using the bottom of a glass, gently press into the center of the meet to form a bowl.  Wrap the meat with bacon to hold it together, and place the veggies in the bowl.  Top with cheese if desired.


Place over indirect heat on the grill and cook for about 45 min.
